Reaction-Diffusion Processes of Hard-Core Particles
We study a 12-parameter stochastic process involving particles with two-site interaction and hardcore repulsion on a d-dimensional lattice. In this model, which includes the asymmetric exclusion process, contact processes and other processes, the stochastic variables are particle occupation numbers taking values n~x = 0, 1. We show that on a 10-parameter submanifold the k-point equaltime correl...
متن کاملSolution on the Bethe lattice of a hard core athermal gas with two kinds of particles.
Athermal lattice gases of particles with first neighbor exclusion have been studied for a long time as simple models exhibiting a fluid-solid transition. At low concentration the particles occupy randomly both sublattices, but as the concentration is increased one of the sublattices is occupied preferentially. Here, we study a mixed lattice gas with excluded volume interactions only in the gran...
متن کاملField theory for reaction-diffusion processes with hard-core particles.
We show how to build up a systematic bosonic field theory for a general reaction-diffusion process involving hard-core particles in arbitrary dimension. We discuss a recent approach proposed by Park, Kim, and Park [Phys. Rev. E 62, 7642 (2000)]. As a test bench for our method, we show how to recover the equivalence between asymmetric diffusion of excluding particles and the noisy Burgers equation.
متن کاملMulti - particle entanglement via two - party entanglement ∗
Entanglement between n particles is a generalization of the entanglement between two particles, and a state is considered entangled if it cannot be written as a mixture of tensor products of the n particles’ states. We present the key notion of semi-separability, used to investigate n-particle entanglement by looking at two-party entanglement between its various subsystems. We provide necessary...
متن کاملBayesian analysis of a Gibbs hard-core point pattern model with varying repulsion range
Gibbs point processes are statistical models for spatial point patterns with repulsive interactions between points. Traditionally a constant repulsion range is assumed. In reality, the repulsion range might change from location to location as a result of environmental heterogeneity. In this talk I will discuss the modeling of space varying repulsion range parameter in Bayesian framework using G...
